Physical therapists examine, treat and instruct patients in order to prevent, correct, alleviate or limit physical disability, bodily malfunction and/or pain from injury or disease.

Procedures may involve the following:

• Thermal Agents
• Electrotherapeutic Modalities
• Manual Mobilization/Manipulation Techniques and/or Therapeutic Exercises through a variety of strategies.

Problem solving to meet each individual patient's needs is a hallmark of North Georgia Physical Therapy Associates.

Great effort is also undertaken to determine and instruct the patient in the most appropriate self-care program.
