Laboratory
North Georgia Medical Center's Laboratory is a full
service laboratory and we are open 24 hours a day for emergency needs.
Normal business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
FAST
TURNAROUND:
Our laboratory is equipped with state of the art equipment. This enables
us to analyze and process 95%of our patients’ specimens locally.
PERSONNEL:
Our laboratory is staffed with registered Medical Technologist with many
years of experience. Each technologist is cross trained to work in all
areas of the laboratory.
WORKING
WITH YOUR DOCTOR:
We analyze specimens and give your physician information that aids him
or her in the selection of your treatment.
OUTPATIENT
LAB SERVICES:
When you arrive at our lab for outpatient lab work, you will be met by
a friendly and courteous staff. We offer to you the convenience of local
testing no matter where your doctor may practice. Your doctor will have
your results on the day they are completed.
DRUG
SCREEN TESTING:
We offer random, pre-employment, and post accident drug screen testing
for business and industry. Screens can be done in house and all positives
are confirmed by GC/MS.
YOUR
CHOICE:
North Georgia Medical Center Laboratory is here to assist you and your
physician with any laboratory testing he/she may need. We hope you will
look locally and choose our lab whenever your physician orders laboratory
tests.
