Medical Center’s Business Office will file insurance claims for our
patients. We ask that you do the following:
• Present your insurance card at the time of registration.
• Prior to admission, please review your insurance carrier’s
requirement for pre-certification and/or pre-authorization. (Insurance
carriers often reduce benefit payments if their specified procedure is
not followed.)

Bills You May Receive
In addition to your hospital bill, you may receive a direct bill from
your physician or other physicians for services rendered such as radiology,
anesthesiology, and pathology. These physicians may or may not be participants
in your insurance plan. Please contact your member service representative
with your insurance carrier for coverage determination. Specific inquiries
regarding bills for these services may be directed to:

Costs
Not Covered
Payments for cost not covered by your insurance plan will be requested
upon discharge and at time of service. These may be co-payments, deductibles,
private room differences, cost shares, etc. Methods of payment are as
follows: Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
